Massa’s Ego has landed and Exploded
Today Eric Massa, Representative from New York, lied down but he didn’t go quietly. Massa resigned, which was no surprise. His reasons for resigning were a different story, a story that has frequently changed. First he said he was resigning because of health problems, then he said he was resigning because of an investigation involving sexual harassment of a male staff member, and now he is resigning because the Democrats in the House are forcing him out. Why? It turns out that he (a No vote on health care) is the deciding vote, who knew?
On his weekly radio show on Sunday, Massa called Rahm Emmanuel the “son of the devil’s spawn,” going on to say; “He is an individual who would sell his mother to get a vote. He would strap his children to a front end of a steam locomotive.” Harsh words indeed. He also detailed being bullied by Emmanuel while they were both naked after showering at the gym because of his vote against Obama’s budget.
